Our Men's Competitive Team
Our Men's Team may be small, but they are mighty! Because of our tight-knit size, we are able to provide highly individualized coaching to every athlete, meeting them exactly where they are and giving them the specific support they need to level up.
Men's artistic gymnastics requires an incredible combination of raw strength, flexibility, and fearlessness across six unique apparatuses:
-
Floor Exercise (Acrobatics & Balance): Gymnasts use the entire floor to combine explosive tumbling passes with incredible displays of static balance and sheer strength.
-
Pommel Horse (Rhythm & Flow): A mesmerizing display of continuous circular movements, swings, and flairs where only the gymnast's hands touch the apparatus.
-
Still Rings (Pure Strength & Control): The ultimate test of upper-body power. Gymnasts perform gravity-defying holds (like the Iron Cross) and swinging elements while keeping the rings as perfectly still as possible.
-
Vault (Speed & Power): Athletes sprint down the runway, launch off the springboard, and execute high-flying aerial twists and flips before fighting for a firm, "stuck" landing.
-
Parallel Bars (Agility & Flight): Gymnasts fluidly swing above, below, and between the two bars, combining strength holds with daring release moves.
-
Horizontal "High" Bar (Fearlessness): A breathtaking event where gymnasts use momentum to perform giant swings and high-flying release moves high above the mat.
The All-Around Competition
In addition to specializing in individual events, our athletes also compete in the "All-Around." This combines their scores from all six apparatuses to rank them individually, while the top scores contribute to our overall Team ranking.
